Running around an hour early, 47853 heads a 5Z49 1535 Preston-Old Oak Common ECS past Cathiron on Sunday 3rd July 2005. The stock had been used for a Deltic hauled charter the previous day, and 55019 had been dropped off at Crewe enroute, to go light engine to Barrow Hill. |

Having been a regular performer on the EBW circuit all week, I managed another shot of 90034 on 15th July, this time at Bradnocks Marsh, south of Hampton in Arden, with the 1B67 1506 Wolverhampton-Euston. |
The 6A42 1515 Bescot Yard-Wembley Yard "Enterprise" conveys the empty vans off the Birch Coppice trip and often acts as a disposal for ferry vans from the North of England and Scotland that congregate at Bescot leading to monster trains. 92027 heads such a working through Berkswell on 15th July, 2005. If only 92s could clag....! |
