| Taking advantage of low cost flights from Birmingham to Edinburgh with flybe, Wednesday 20th July 2005 saw a bash on the North Berwicks plus a visit to Dalmeny to try and get some shots with the Forth Bridge in the background.
Of course we had to go when Longannet Power Station was closed but we didn't know that when we booked the flights... Never mind there was always the Linkswood tanks, which had been known recently to produce a 37... Inevitably the Linkswood was a "Shed" and it passed Dalmeny as we were passing Haymarket on the way there, and of course the sun refused to co-operate, but we had a good day, some nice shots and a few miles of new track, and all for £2.98 plus taxes! |
